Fall Garden Transition Cleanup + Planting (Aug. 2025)

This client was ready to get rid of her summer crops, and prepare for the fall gardening season. In one bed, we completely weeded the bed, got rid of all but a few of the 10+ tomatoes, staked up what was left, harvested the last of the eggplant and cleared those as well. Planted cauliflower, and cabbage, and started some broccoli and spinach in pots. Lastly, in the same bed, a hoop-house out of pvc pipe was installed.

In the second bed, it was completely weeded as well, cleared of 2/3rd of the volunteer thai basil plants, 2/3rd of the pepper plants, all of the volunteer garlic chives and cut back the dead/dying foliage and stems on client's thyme plants, oregano, garlic chives. In the same bed, beans, and carrots were directly planted.
